RISK ASSESSMENTS
Choice Safety Consulting will conduct risk assessments in various forms (Baseline, Issue and Continuous) that will encompass the complete area of operations and activities to ensure that all tasks and activities within the organisation are identified. Critical hazards will be identified and flagged specifically in the risk register.
Risk assessment will be reviewed and updated when:
HEALTH AND SAFETY AUDITS
Health and Safety audits is carried out through a mixture of interviews, document analysis, work methods, and arrangements.
The audit’s goal is to ensure compliance with the applicable process, work instruction, regulatory, or other audit requirements.
The compliance audit consists of various elements within the Choice Safety Management System.
The organisation compliance status will be monitored via inspections conducted by Choice Safety Consulting or by yourselves and verified by Choice Safety Consulting.

TRAINING
EVACUATION OFFICER TRAINING
SAQA US ID: 259597 – Explain Emergency Preparedness and Response Procedures.
The delegate who completes the Evacuation Officer training will be able to distinguish between an emergency and an incident as well as understanding the different types of emergencies that may take place. The delegate will be able to explain the types of emergency alarms in the workplace, the procedures for responding to them and the methods and procedures which need to be applied in an assembly area after an alarm.

SAQA US ID: 259622 – Describe the functions of the workplace health and safety representative.
The person credited with this unit standard is able to understand the objectives and statutory requirements pertaining to health and safety in the workplace. The learners will be able to explain the rights, powers, functions and duties of the workplace health and safety representative and how any errant health, safety and environmental issues may be handled. Learners will also be able to participate in the safety, health and environmental structures and measure these activities according to health, safety and environmental requirements.
